Keyboard shortcuts

This document contains a list of all keyboard shortcuts that can be used to control map.apps. map.apps uses the ArcGIS API for JavaScript, which provides many of the following keyboard commands. Changes of the API by Esri might also result in changes to the commands in map.apps.

Use first click when drawing a circle as the corner point of an imaginary surrounding rectangle (instead of the center of the circle)

Hold down ALT when creating

Combine the two effects described above

CTRL + ALT when creating

Move map while drawing

Select multiple drawings (to remove, move, rotate or resize them at the same time)

SHIFT + left mouse button (only in transform mode)
