Installation of the program modules

To install the software, perform the following steps:

  1. Stop the Tomcat that is to be used for the web applications.

  2. Start the installation program.

    The start of the installation program is either done with the supplied script

    [UNPACK_FOLDER]/security.manager-[VERSION]/install-secman.bat

    or done by executing the command

    java -jar [UNPACK_FOLDER]/security.manager-[VERSION]/installer-secman.jar

  3. Select the program modules (select all modules for a standard installation)

    • Administrator

    • Gateway

    • WSS

  4. Enter the required configuration parameters.

  5. Perform the Post-Installation Steps, which is referred to after the installation is complete.

  6. Start the Tomcat.
