Required Software

To install the map.apps Smart Search Extension, map.apps must be running in your environment and Apache Tomcat and Java must be installed on your system. Supported versions of that software can be found in the system requirements.

Java

To install Java, see Java Download page .

Apache Tomcat

At first download Apache Tomcat . If you do not know which file you need, download 32-bit/64-bit Windows Service Installer for a Windows installation. For more information about the installation process, see Tomcat setup documentation .

If your system environment requires special proxy server settings, these might have to be adjusted in Tomcat as well.
