Required Software

Before map.apps Smart Search Extension can be installed, Apache Tomcat and Java have to be installed on your system. Supported versions of that software can be found in the system requirements.

Java

To install Java, see Java Download page .

Apache Tomcat

At first download Apache Tomcat . If you do not know which file you need, download 32-bit/64-bit Windows Service Installer for a Windows installation. For more information about the installation process, see Tomcat setup documentation .

If your system environment requires special proxy server settings, these might have to be adjusted in Tomcat as well.
