Installation

If you want to send Emails from your FME Server it is necessary to configure any Email Subscription (e.g. DataDownload_Email_JobSuccess) used by your Workspaces. Sending emails can be useful if you want to use the asynchronous capabilities of the FME Server which means that you can start a process and receive a notification via Email as soon as the job has been finished.

A tutorial on how to set up an Email account in FME can be found in the FME Knowledge Center. Make sure that Email accounts are configured for all topics you are using in your workspaces.

The configured topics can be addressed when uploading a workspace to the FME Server.
