Lifecycle platform products
con terra products follow a lifecycle. The products are divided into platform products and extension products. Platform products form the basis for con terra’s GeoIT solutions. Their lifecycle is therefore geared towards long-term stability. The individual phases and the current lifecycle stage of the individual platform products are shown below.
Lifecycle phases
The lifecycle for con terra Technologies platform products consists of four phases. The individual phases and the associated services are described below.

1 Current release in each case
2 The current minor release is eligible for standard support. Problems can also be reported for earlier releases; any bug fixes will be included in a future release. Previous minor releases are also eligible for support. An additional contract (see 4) is required for this. Alternative requirements can be mapped via Support Plus.
3 New operating systems, browsers, Java versions, etc.
4 Additional contract necessary for effort-related service.
Information on the Lifecycle Phases
General Availability
The latest major version of a product is usually in the General Availability phase. This version is actively developed further. It is recommended to always use the latest minor version.
