FME Server installation

map.apps ETL requires access to a FME Server installation. You can find an installation guide within the Knowledge Center from Safe Software .

Email notifications

To send emails from your FME Server configure any email subscription (e.g. DataDownload_Email_JobSuccess) used by your workspaces. This can be useful for asynchronous capabilities of the FME Server. You start a process and receive a notification via email as soon as the job has been finished.

You can find a tutorial on how to set up an email account in FME . Make sure that email accounts are configured for all topics you are using in your workspaces.

The configured topics can be addressed when uploading a workspace to the FME Server.
